Grade 6
PrintGrade 6 marks the transition to middle school mathematics across expressions and equations, geometry, the number system, ratios and proportional relationships, and statistics and probability. Ratio reasoning, rates, and percent are central to the ratios domain, while the number system extends to negative numbers and operations with fractions. Students write and evaluate expressions and equations and summarize data using measures of center and variability.
