If you are under the age of 13, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school representative. 3. Data Collection and Privacy

Information Collection

We collect and maintain certain information necessary for the operation of our Service. This includes user identification credentials, performance data related to problem-solving activities, and technical data necessary for Service operation. We adhere strictly to data minimization principles and collect only information essential to providing and improving our Service.

Usage and Storage

All collected information is stored securely and used solely for legitimate educational purposes. We maintain the right to use anonymized and aggregated data for Service improvement and educational research. Any analysis of usage patterns or generation of educational insights will be conducted with appropriate privacy safeguards in place.

4. User Rights and Control

Users maintain significant rights regarding their personal information. These rights include accessing, correcting, or deleting their information, as well as opting out of certain data collection practices. For student users, all such requests must be made through their School, which maintains primary control over student data. Parents and guardians may request access through their respective Schools.

5. Security Measures

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect user data. Our technical security infrastructure includes end-to-end encryption for data transmission, encryption at rest for stored data, and regular security audits. We maintain robust organizational security protocols, including employee training programs, access controls, and incident response procedures.

6. Service Provisions

We strive to maintain consistent Service availability with 99.9% uptime. While we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features, we commit to providing advance notice of significant changes. Scheduled maintenance is conducted during off-peak hours to minimize disruption.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users of the Service must refrain from any attempts to breach system security, share access credentials, upload malicious content, or interfere with Service operation. Additionally, users may not violate intellectual property rights, harass other users, or submit false or misleading information.

8. Compliance Framework

Our Service adheres to major educational privacy regulations including FERPA, COPPA, NY Ed Law 2-D, and EU GDPR. We maintain strict student data confidentiality and implement all required security measures to protect user privacy.

9. Third-Party Relationships

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Any material changes will require 30 days advance notice and, where applicable, School consent for changes affecting student data. All modifications will be conspicuously posted, and users will be notified of significant updates.

11. Termination

We may terminate service for Terms violation, extended inactivity, School request, or legal requirement. Users may terminate service by requesting account deletion, ceasing service use, or notifying support.
