These 26 states publish their own math standards instead of using Common Core directly. Some, like Texas (TEKS) and Virginia (SOL), never adopted Common Core. Others, like New York and Indiana, initially adopted it but later wrote their own replacements. Florida replaced Common Core in 2020 with the B.E.S.T. Standards.
