Grade 3
PrintGrade 3 introduces multiplication and division as foundational operations, with students interpreting products and quotients, learning properties of operations, and achieving fluency within 100. Fractions appear for the first time as numbers: students place unit fractions and other fractions on number lines, compare them, and recognize equivalences. Area measurement, telling time to the nearest minute, and work with liquid volumes and mass round out the year.
