Kindergarten centers on number: counting sequences, subitizing, comparing quantities, and composing and decomposing numbers within 10. Geometry introduces two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional solids, and data work covers sorting and classifying objects by attributes. Addition and subtraction within 10 appear in both the number and algebra domains.
