Grade 3

Print

Grade 3 introduces five domains: geometry, measurement and data, number and operations in base ten, fractions, and operations and algebraic thinking. Fractions appear as a new number type, with students locating unit fractions on a number line and comparing fractions with the same numerator or denominator. Multiplication and division within 100, including the relationship between the two operations, are the core arithmetic focus.
