Grade 5 completes whole-number operations and extends them to fraction and decimal arithmetic in Numbers and Operation. Algebra introduces coordinate graphing and expressions with variables. Geometry and Measurement cover volume of rectangular prisms and properties of two-dimensional figures, and Data Analysis focuses on interpreting line graphs and stem-and-leaf plots.
