Graph proportional relationships.

8.8.aInterpret the unit rate of a proportional relationship, describing the constant of proportionality as the slope of the graph which goes through the origin and has the equation y = mx where m is the slope.
Example Problems
Write the equation of a line that is parallel to y=−7x+5 and that passes through the point (3,−2).
Write the equation of a line that is perpendicular to y=3x−2 and that passes through the point (−9,5).
Write the equation of a line that is parallel to y=2−3x−1 and that passes through the point (4,6).
